Prop it up Hire

Terminology

All goods for hire are the property of Prop it up hereinafter referred to as the “Hiree”.  The person(s) or company hiring items from the Hiree will be referred to as the “Hirer”.  The Hirer shall be solely responsible for the item(s) once in receipt of same and it is the Hirer’s responsibility to ensure that items are returned within the specified hiring period in good order and undamaged.

Payment

50% of the hire charge will be required to secure a booking on all our items and this is non-refundable.   The remainder of the hire charge along with set deposit will be required upon collection or prior to delivery.

Delivery

Delivery is available with our cake styling service and large items only subject to conditions.  A delivery charge will apply.

Cancellation

Should you cancel your booking more than 14 days prior to the hire date, then no further charge will be incurred.  Should you cancel within 14 days of the hire date then you will be liable for the full hire charge.  All cancellations must be made in person or in writing.

Damage and/Or Replacement of Items

Should any item be unreturned within the specified hire period or returned damaged then the full deposit held on account will be utilised to purchase a replacement item or repair the damaged item.  Should of course the repair costs not exceed the deposit held, then any remaining deposit monies will be returned to the Hiree at the Hirer’s discretion.

Liability

The Hiree shall not be held responsible for any injury or damage to person(s) or property howsoever sustained from any hired goods from Prop it up.
